First of all, let me say that WE ALL at one point or another would rather have certain days and/or weeks taken back and completely re-done. Some weeks can be HELL and some can be absolutely amazing, right?
Doesn't it frustrate you when you're given a ton of work to have done by a certain time frame, but you bust your ass to get it done, but someone else who has the same workload just moans and groans through it all - and you never have heard so much complaining in your life? I have a certain co-worker like that. She thinks that just because she's blonde and...umm, cute (I don't think so) she can just skate through each day and complain her way out of every task she is given. We both agree that our boss isn't the best one in the world, but the respect still has to be there, regardless. I don't like my boss' work ethic, and neither do I like her's all that much, but the respect still has to be there and you need to prove you are capable of completing whatever is given to you. Unless, of course, it's something completely illegal, which none of the work is.
Anyway, thought about this? Oh yeah...this is the military. I just thought I'd throw that out there.

Being a veteran myself I can attest to having similar situations. I always revert back to my first Drill Sergeant, Booth who ingrained in us the motto "Do what your told and bitch about it after you are done" I had a CWO-3 that did absolutely nothing but play golf, regardless he was in charge of our group and we always respected the rank and not so much the person wearing it. We did what we were assignedand even went TDY begrudingly and prayed that he would PCS soon. For tolerating our lazy ass we were rewarded with an E-8 that took over and showed off our group and 2 ARCOMs later we stopped bitchin. In short they will hopefully PCS or ETS soon if not just take their work from them and do it yourself so they will just shut up.
