International Annoyance

I work in a taiwan with one other foreigner teaching English. Because of this situation, we are somehow forced into a quasi-friendship.

I have never met someone so self-centered and obnoxious in my entire life. I sit next to him, with no cubicle wall for protection from his hourly complaints (between lessons). Every chance he gets, he tries to prove to me how smart, handsome and popular he is. He has been learning Mandarin for longer than me and constantly tries to show how much better he is. He noticed that I had been studying mandarin a lot and remarked, "wow, i better start studying or you're going to be better than me"... learning a language is not a competition, douche bag. Because he is a white male in an asian country, he is fairly popular with the ladies over here (they are seemingly immune to his idiocy). He told me that he is disappointed some of our students found out that he has a girlfriend, because he no-one is emailing him anymore and the women are treating him differently (i feel like saying, "oh you poor thing" and i want to tell his girlfriend how much of a player he is). He never asks any questions, just talks in monologue form about himself. if he does happen to ask a question, i often (tongue-in-cheek) respond with "oh thank you for asking.."

As a teacher, he is constantly trying to make others feel inferior. Oh, did i mention, that he is anti-semitic?
In summary, he is absolutely driving me crazy. He has the worst personality I have ever encountered. Its almost impossible to find any redeeming qualities about him. I think he is so ignorant that he doesn't even comprehend my utter disdain for all that is him. I am pulling my hair out.

Newsflash

Let's get this straight. If you do not have a handicap placard or if you do have one and the handicap person is not in the car with you, DO NOT FRIGGIN' PARK IN THAT SPOT YOU $%$#@$%^*&!!!

I am sick and tired of seeing people, "who will only be a second' park in the spot reserved for someone with a disability. I have seen people do this right in front of a police officer like it was there God given right. Who in the hell do you think you are?!? If there was a fire on your block I assume you will also be parked in front of the fire hydrant, and in this scenario we hope Murphy's law catches up with you.

This also applies to you, you schmuck, that thinks it's ok if your passenger is just running into the store and that you will move if someone needs the spot. OK KRESKIN, mind read this,"DON'T PARK THERE TO BEGIN WITH! IT DOESN"T SAY RESERVED YOU THE LORD GOD KING OF TALKING ON YOUR CELLPHONE WHILE DRIVING AND TURNING ON RED WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING TO SEE IF TRAFFIC IS COMING!"
